7-day premium trial

New free users are eligible for a 7-day premium trial. The trial requires a payment method on file and auto converts into a subscription if not cancelled within the trial period. The 7 day premium trial gives you full subscriber perks to Kindroid, including unlimited V5-Large access, multiple Kindroids and groupchat, more selfies, custom voices, and more. The trial is accessible on iOS, Android, and web.



Free user features

  • 150 messages on account creation, then 1 message every 20 min, up to 15 messages stacked.
  • Limited access to V5-Large for the first 100 messages sent per account.
  • Access to V5-Lite, the distilled version of our flagship model V5-Large model.
  • 1 selfie request every 2 hours, up to 2 max.
  • 5,000 lifetime audio characters (~5 minutes of audio) for messages & calls.
  • Only 2 Kindroids per account.

New free users who sign up start out with 150 messages, and limited access to V5-Large, our flagship language model. After around 100 messages on V5-Large, free users will lose access to V5-Large and use the V5-Lite model, a smaller, more basic model instead. New free users also get 5,000 in lifetime audio to use in voiced messages or audio calls, and 1 selfie credit every 2 hours.

Payments

You can pay via web or iOS/Android app. You can pay on any platform of your choice, but be mindful of limitations on switching plans below. The subscription status is linked to your login account shown by the email on the top of the settings menu, not the device you subscribed on, so you are able to login on any device, operating system, or browser. Prices are slightly lower for web due to lower processing fees compared to app stores, and we recommend subscribing on web for maximum flexibility.

Please ensure your payment method is updated at all times. If your subscription ends due to an error on your end, such as forgetting to update the address after a move, we will not be able to reinstate the same subscription. You will need to purchase a new one at the current rate.

Note: We currently do not accept gift card payments through direct pay on the web.

Subscribing on the web

Payments are managed through the web by clicking on "Billing" in menu. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and many other payment options (most available through the web payment portal).

Subscribing on iOS & Android app stores

Payment sources are different based on the app store you are purchasing it through. Payments are managed directly through the app store from which you purchased your subscription.

Switching plans

You can upgrade/downgrade on monthly, 3 month, or yearly plans on web (immediate, prorated charge) or iOS (new billing interval at the next billing date) easily, but on Android you cannot and have to wait for the subscription to run out before resubscribing at the desired billing interval. You CANNOT switch between iOS, Android, or web subscriptions to another platform until your current subscription runs out and you resubscribe. If you are on a legacy early adopter subscription, you will not be able to switch to another subscription interval without losing your discounted rate.

Canceling & updating subscriptions

If you subscribed on the web, you can update/cancel your subscription on the web platform by clicking on Billing from settings.

Refunds

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. While we generally do not offer refunds and all sales are final, we reserve the right to issue refunds at our discretion. We also reserve the right to permanently ban users who dispute charges.
